HIGHLIGHTS

The H Series harvester head models range from heads for energy wood harvesting to heads for final felling. Typical properties of the Nisula harvester heads include an extremely strong frame, as well as high-quality materials and components. These properties make harvesting efficient and fluent. The manufacturing quality and maintainability of the heads are top class.

The C Series multi-purpose harvester heads have properties that you haven't been able to even imagine. The control system utilises the grapple arms, which keep the tree in a tight grip during the felling and feeding operation. Dimensional accuracy is improved and work is faster and more efficient. Stems and branches are easily moved during harvesting. The C Series head which is equipped with seperate grapple arms is an excellent alternative at sites where both industrial and energy wood is harvested.

Nisula Harvester Heads & Multi-Purpose Harvester Heads

All the structures of the heads are made of high strength steel. The structures are welded by using a special filler metals designed for high strength steel. The shaft sleeves are made of tempered steel and the axles of surface hardened tempered steel.

The cylinders of the heads do not move lengthways, which minimises the movement of the hoses and thereby the risk of damage. The design of the saw casing helps the operator find the correct cut-off point and reduces the risk of the saw hitting the ground. The accurately measured position of the saw maximises the utilisation of the saw bar: comparatively larger cut-through diameter and minimised movement of the saw bar. These properties bring savings in chain and saw bar costs.

It is not a coincidence that the first Nisula 400 Harvester Heads have more than 20,000 hours of work behind and a lot more ahead. This speaks for the quality and durability of the product.

SPECIFICATION

Nisula 325H - Number One In Light Harvester Heads

325 0How have we managed to make this harvester head so efficient in relation to its size and weight? The structure of the head is exceptional. One cylinder moves both the feeding rolls and the delimbing knives. This structure decreases the overall weight and improves the hose and valve configuration, as well as the control of the head. The front knives are supported by the roll gage, which means that the delimbing force is not applied directly on the stem. Nisula 325 offers efficiency, easy use and speed for first thinning operations. Its light structure allows the use of a crane with a long reach. The quality of the components and the durability of the frame represent the familiar Nisula quality.

Nisula 425H - Superior Efficiency-Weight Ratio For Thinning

425hThe new 425H Harvester head is based on the reliable Nisula 400 Series. The productivity in relation to the weight of the head is incredibly high. The 425H head has several new properties that enhance efficiency. Additional delimbing knives make the handling of even large trees easy. The tree is kept in a tight grip while it is fed through the grapple. The clean delimbing diameter is 320mm. The new machined front knives improve wear resistance and offer a larger delimbing diameter. The stronger driver motors increased the feeding capacity by 20%. The larger saw bar allows a 425mm single cut and the new wider feeding block decreases power losses.
