At the Yorkshire Show stand 696 we are showing the Arb Special 16” 400mm round capacity ACP Whole Tree Chipper based on the best- selling Heizohack HM8-400 Chipper, this already very capable chipper has been fitted with our tried and tested  ACP Pressure Assist System, with the 1st machines into service more than 10 years ago.

No more trying to get awkward and forked timber to go through the Chipper, with Pressure Assist once it’s into the feed rollers the system takes over with Radio Control.

We acquired this ex German Police U2150L38 Unimog complete with front loader earlier in the year for a valued and existing customer based in Canada. We have carried a comprehensive mechanical re-furb of this machine including complete front and rear axle removal and rebuild and the same with the gearbox. We have designed and fitted a 2nd alternator at the customer’s request, designed and fitted a Snow plough relief system and fitted a splitter gearbox.

Here we have our own Unimog UGN PUH’s about to go onto our test rig before final fitting. Our tried and tested design is made from High Yield 700 Grade steel, the double acting hydraulic cylinders allow the hook to be pressed down and eliminate the possibility of cross contamination into the air system as is common with air release designs. An integral relief valve ensures no damage is done by excess pressure in the down side. The hook is fully interchangeable for an 80mm ball connection.

One of our Customers Charlie Shaw recently had our HM8-400 Heizohack woodchipper for a demonstration, he was very happy with the chip so today his very own HM8-500K has arrived. This was one of the woodchippers being showcased at the recent Heizomat 35 year celebrations, we think it looks just the job!

This weekend Heizomat were celebrating their 35 year anniversary. We went along with some of our customers to the open day and the brilliant party in the evening. Thank you Heizomat for a very well organised and entertaining weekend!

Here we have our customer Mr Howard Green after we had completed the fitting of his bespoke chipbox and used Deucker HF250 10” Chipper onto his brand new Unimog U430 . Nice number plate Howard I am sure he will be the envy of many Unimog owners.

Two Unimogs 30 years apart! it’s interesting to see the progression of the Unimog brand over these 30 years. The 1983 U900 came from the factory with the OM352 as standard, producing 85Hp from its 5675cc. Fast forward 30 years and the 2013 U400 has only 700cc more from its OM906LA yet puts out 286Hp.
