UNIMOG 2450 + PALFINGER CRANE

New Exchange engine fitted approx 2400hrs ago.

Dual Clutch and Front PTO, ideal for Front Mount Chipper ( We can supply front DIN plate from stock )

The crane base has now been repaired, this has involved a complete strip down of the crane base legs, shot blast and paint of all parts, all wear and damage is being repaired along, with all new stainless steel cables to enable the deployment and retraction of the legs by hydraulics. New support bearings and rollers, together with support pins are being fitted. The Crane is all up and working, but is being sold as is for now.

Fitted with:

Palfinger PK21000D with radio control and basket

5 x hydraulic extensions and 1 manual giving 780kg @16.7m , we can fit 2 more manual extensions to give 480kg @ 21.6m (at extra cost)

It has radio remote for the crane and also has a basket, RC works but all crane is untested, and as is.

This Unimog is a rare animal as it is the X19 14000kg GVW version of the 3250mm wheelbase U2450, this is a completely different chassis to the normal 12500kg version ( see cab plate picture )

Guaranteed work done, we have done basic service work on the machine, rear axle had no drive, this has now been repaired by fitting a new propshaft, together with rear axle hub strip and rebuild, all rear calipers and handbrake mechanism was stripped and rebuilt, we have all pictures of this work. The machine is not fully refrubed though, hence the price. So machine is being offered as is now. Cab is a lot better than it looks, it is suffering from being battered more than anything else. We could do the work to this machine, but would have to be over a longer period of time with stage payments.
