Auer

This is an Austrian company specialising in a wide range of timber and chip handling/processing machinery. The original connection with Auer was with there range of  ‘woodcracker’ suspended log splitters. Recently introduced at the last APF show was their own woodchip blower, which we have now sold a number into the UK. Please browse further within our new website to gain more info on the Auer range.

Penz

Another Austrian company and manufacturers of timber cranes from 4 to 23t/m . Relatively unheard of outside of Austria and Germany, they are regarded as the ‘Only’ timber crane available in Austria! In a recent visit to the factory we were very impressed with the design and build of these cranes.  Penz were responsible for the Z crane design which many manufacturers have copied. We have recently sold a number of Z style cranes, one is being fitted to a 32” mobile tracked chipper that we are building. The other is shortly to be fitted to a crane frame base on a Unimog U1600.  Follow the link direct to the PENZ website.

Kronos

A Finnish Company who manufacture forestry cranes and trailers.Their hydraulic components are of the highest standard and they use in-house Scandinavian steel.
