Professional contractor
The Unimog can help to make your fleet much more efficient. It is the only professional implement carrier with the same potential as a comparable 16t truck. But it is much more efficient.

With its gross vehicle weight of up to 16 t and a wheel base from 3.35 m to 3.90 m *,  it can carry heavy loads and thus transport large and powerful implements, for example the trio mower, large cranes of up to 40 mt, interchangeable suction sweeper bodies of up to 6 m³ and salt spreaders of up to 4 m³.

Road-Railer
Pure rail guidance for mounted implements, up to shunting and moving trains with total weights up to 1000tonnes when suitably equipped with torque convertor and train brake system.
        
Energy industry
Continuous pressure is placed on the costs for maintenance and repairs due to the ever increasing competition in the energy sector. Typical uses are access platforms and crane auger units for pole erection, or simply highly capable off-road support units.
        
Firefighting
Professionals all around the world rely on the Unimog when they are in the front line fighting forest fires. In many applications, the work begins where no roads exist - for example in the construction and energy applications or in catastrophy areas; for decades the Unimog has been in these sectors. Since the Unimog with implements can tacle almost every obstacle: off or on the road.

Agricultural and Contsruction Haulage

For many years now it has been a well proven fact that Unimogs are far more fuel efficient for off and on road haulage than Agricultural Tractors, and a recent long term road haulage test in Germany has come up with the hard facts to prove it. A Unimog will use 40% less fuel than an average tractor. That is a huge saving! Where ever possible of course a standard road going truck is the most cost effective solution. However if you require off-road traction as well, or need to drive PTO driven implements on site the Unimog offers a legal * and highly competitive package.
