Through Fortuna and Muller Mitteltal we can supply both new and used adjustable drawbar trailers designed specifically for use with Unimogs. The idea of the adjustable drawbar is to enable the trailer to be loaded up to it’s  permissible gross weight without overloading the hitch on the towing vehicle, this is done by adjusting the height of the trailer drawbar in accordance with the travel of the trailer suspension.

The benefits of adjustable drawbar trailers on Unimogs over pick up hitch (agricultural type) drawbars include safer towing characteristics whether loaded or empty, less weight imposed on the Unimog giving reduced wear and tear on rear axles and tyres and by no means least, the capability to meet Construction and Use Regulations meaning that when plated registered as HGV the vehicle and trailer can travel on the motorway.

Adjustable drawbar trailers come in many shapes and sizes, the standard 3 way tip, drop side trailer being the most common, they can also be supplied as crane trailers, plant trailers, hook loaders and even cattle / sheep trailers.
